Elizabeth Edmundson Reeves

Elizabeth Edmundson Reeves, 82, of Britthaven Nursing
Home, died Sunday morning.
A native of the Faro community of Wayne County, she was the daughter
of the late William H. "Bill" Edmundson and Jennie Yelverton
Edmundson and was the widow of Luther Reeves. Mrs. Reeves was a
former resident of Kirkwood Retirement Village for 12 years. She was
a lifetime member of Yelverton United Methodist Church and the
United Methodist Women. Mrs. Reeves was very active in the church
having served on the Administrative Board and as a Sunday school
teacher.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral
Home Chapel with the Reverends Charles Moseley and Earl Dulaney
officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
at Eureka Cemetery with Rev. Bob Hardy officiating..
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Reeves Dees; son, Billy
Reeves and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Tammy Dees Robbins and
husband, Brent, Scott Reeves and fiance, Debi Brooks; a
great-granddaughter, Anna Robbins; a sister, Inez E. Lancaster and
husband, Wilbert.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Edmundson and
brothers, Roy Edmundson, Add Edmundson and William Edmundson.
