Irvin Neal Rogers

Goldsboro – Mr. Irvin Neal Rogers, 86, of The Pines, died Tuesday at
Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Franklin County, he was the son of the late Emmett
Ashton Rogers and Alma Louise Hyatt Rogers and was married to the
late Martha Royster Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the United
States Army and served his country during World War II.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his son, Irvin Norman Rogers of Bolivia; a
daughter, Martha Rogers Kornegay of Goldsboro; three grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s
choice.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at
Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Steve and
Martha Kornegay, 306 Lois Place, Goldsboro NC 27534.
