Henrietta Edmundson Sasser
 Goldsboro – Mrs. Henrietta Edmundson Sasser, 85, of the Pines, died Monday at the Brian Center.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Green Edmundson and Mammie Elizabeth Lancaster Edmundson and was married to the late George “Buck” Sasser. Mrs. Sasser was a retired hairdresser and was a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church. She was the past Matron of the Pikeville Chapter #300 Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Bailey and Dr. Rev. Gerry Davis officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sasser is survived by her daughter, Joy Sasser Harding and husband, Freddie of Youngsville; her sons, George Sasser and wife, Sybil of Warrenton, VA, Bobby Sasser and wife, Billie Faye of Goldsboro and Henry Sasser and wife, Jean of Goldsboro; and her sisters, Nora E. Bogue of Eureka, Fannie E. Hare and husband, Rufus of Pikeville and Esther E. Davis and husband, Bernice of Eureka; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, NC 111 Hwy. North, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family will receive friends following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Olga Wooten Davis, 553 Church of God Road, Goldsboro.
