Jacob Jeff Sasser

Goldsboro – Jacob Jeff Sasser, 40, of 741 Stoney Creek Church Road,
died Monday at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Margaret Pate Sasser of
Goldsboro and the late Richard Sasser. Jeff was formerly co-owner of
Jeffrey Scott Salon in Goldsboro and was past president of the
Goldsboro Chapter of the National Hairdresser’s Association. He was
member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church and the Crusader’s
for Christ Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Stoney Creek Free
Will Baptist Church with the Reverends Gary Bailey, Rev. Richard
Glosson and Wess Boyd officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m.
Wednesday at the church cemetery.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Jeanne S.
Speight and husband, Kevin of Goldsboro and brothers, Pate Sasser
and Timothy Sasser and wife, Melissa G. Sasser, of Goldsboro; nieces
and nephews, T.J. Sasser, Kayla Sasser, Richard Sasser, Ian Speight,
and Noah Speight; special friends, Joan F. King, Phyllis W. Smith,
Rexanne Sandusky, Julia C. Godwin, Connie Dickerson and Chris Vesy.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service in the
church fellowship hall.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to the Stoney
Creek Free Will Baptist Church, 752 Stoney Creek Church Road,
