Donald Jimmy Schofield
LaGrange – Donald Jimmy Schofield, 68, of 115 Walden Woods Drive,
died Sunday at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Lincoln, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Roy and
Mary Retherford Schofield. Mr. Schofield was retired from the United
States Air Force.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Heights
Baptist Church, where he was a member. Graveside services will be
held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Coastal Carolina State Veterans
Cemetery in Jacksonville. Dr. Al Wright will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Caldwell Schofield; daughters,
Sharon S. Southern of Kernersville and Jennifer S. Bible of Talbott,
TN; son, Richard Schofield of Greensboro; sister, Bonnie Pride of
Wellston, OK; brother, Monroe Schofield of Wellston, OK; and
grandchildren, Steve Karels of Winston Salem, Stephanie Bible of
Talbott, TN, Melissa Southern of Kernersville and Brittani Bible of
Talbott, TN.
