Sara Derr Senz

Mrs. Sara Derr Senz, 90, formerly of Goldsboro died Tuesday at Villa Crest Nursing Home in Manchester, New Hampshire.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Derr and Mary Katherin Rhodes Derr and was the widow of Joseph Francis Senz, Jr. Mrs. Senz had worked with Goldsboro High School as an administrative assistant.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Dr. Billy Seate will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Mrs. Senz is survived by her son, Joseph F. Senz III of Manchester, NH; her grandson, Bradford J. Senz of Derry, NH; her granddaughter, Kristen E. Senz of Manchester, NH; and her niece, Patricia Gallagher Beshaw of Wilmington.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
