Hazel S. Seymour

Goldsboro – Mrs. Hazel S. Seymour, 83, died Monday, March 1, 2004 at
Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late William
Albert and Viola Hood Sasser and Minnie Sasser Overton. Mrs. Seymour
was a member of the Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she
was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and the Ladies
Auxiliary. She was a retired clerk with F.W. Woolworth Co. in
Goldsboro.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial
Cemetery with Rev. James Herring officiating.
Mrs. Seymour is survived by her daughters, Connie S. Massey of Cary,
Janice R. Seymour of Kiawah Island, SC and Kay Seymour of Fremont;
her son, William H. Seymour of Asheville; her brothers, David Sasser
of Kenly and Charlie Sasser of Atlanta, GA; her sisters, Catherine
Sykes of Goldsboro, Margaret Powell of Goldsboro, Rachel Martin of
Matthews, Joyce Craft of Pikeville and Alice Hartley of Princeton;
seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Belfast
Pentecostal Holiness Church Mission Fund, 3093 N U.S. 117 Hwy.,
Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at
Seymour Funeral Home.
