Margaret Edna Stewart Skeels

Dunn – Mrs. Margaret Edna Stewart Skeels, 87, formerly of Kirkwood Retirement Village, Goldsboro, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at Britthaven of Harnett.

A native of Utica, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph G. Stewart and Ethel Shumway Stewart and was married to the late Albert Carlos Skeels. Mrs. Skeels was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Carpenter officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery in Vermontville, NY.

Mrs. Skeels is survived by her daughter, Maggie Wood Harder of Lillington and a son, David Stewart Skeels of Whitehall, NY; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
