Grace Lee Tart

Cary – Mrs. Grace Lee Tart, 81, formerly of Goldsboro, died Friday at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Julius Milton Lee and Sally Westbrook Lee and was married to the late Mangum Harold Tart. Mrs. Tart was a retired school teacher and was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church.

Funeral services and entombment will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Mausoleum Chapel of Wayne Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Tart is survived by her daughter, Sally Tart Bethune and husband, Stuart of Chapel Hill; a granddaughter, Lauren Lee Bethune of Chapel Hill; a grandson, Harold Alexander (Alec) Bethune of Durham; and her sister, Lillie Lee Cagle of Benson.

The family will greet friends following the service at Wayne Memorial Park.
