Clifton Earl Taylor

Goldsboro – Mr. Clifton Earl Taylor, 70, of 2102 N Berkeley Blvd., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native Wayne County, he was the son of the late Marvin and Lucille Peele Taylor. He was retired from Cherry Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 PM at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Ward officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 AM at Wayne Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Barrow Taylor; two daughters, Gail T. Barnes and husband, Howard of Goldsboro and Kimberly T. Holland, of Chocowinity; a son, Tony R. Taylor of Goldsboro; brother, Dean Taylor of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Chad and Beth Barnes, Justin Tracy Holland and Tiffany and Travis Taylor.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Barrow and a brother, Dwight Taylor.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service, and at other times at the home of Gail and Howard Barnes, 457 Saulston Road, Goldsboro, NC.
