Mary Viola Moore Taylor

Goldsboro – Mary Viola Moore Taylor, 94, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Britthaven Nursing Home.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Pitt County on April 5, 1913 to the late Marvin Nash Moore and Anna Whitehurst Moore. She was married to the late Herbert Thomas Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. David Harvin officiating.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her sister, Vera Robinson of California; her nieces, Mary Taylor of Reidsville and Beverly Watkinson of California; and her cousin, Rev. Virgil Whitehurst of LaGrange.

Memorials may be made in her memory to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1605 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.

The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
