M. Elton Thigpen

Springfield, VA – Mr. M. Elton Thigpen, 70, died Wednesday in Springfield, VA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Al Hood and Rev. Ron Varner officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Pat H. Thigpen; children, Karen Rowan of Burke, VA, Janice McCallum of Springfield, VA and Ron Thigpen of Raleigh. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Yaleena Rowan, Eli Rowan, Cameron McCallum and Kathryn McCallum.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2002, from 6:00 ~ 9:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
