Mark Montague Thompson

LaGrange – Mr. Mark Montague Thompson, 41, of 210 Ellington Way died suddenly Saturday, October 16, 2004.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of George W. Thompson III of Goldsboro and the late Myra Montague Thompson. Mr. Thompson was employed with APV Baker of Goldsboro.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Tony McLamb officiating.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Wanda Graham Thompson and their children, Meghan Thompson and Sawyer Thompson. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Thompson Underwood and husband, Sam of Pawley’s Island, SC; his step-mother, Kaye Thompson of Goldsboro; his father-in-law, Eldred Graham of Goldsboro; his step-sister, Jennifer McGowan Cunningham and husband, John of Goldsboro; his nephews and niece, Zachary Underwood, Anna Underwood and Campbell Cunningham; and a special friend, Bobby Adams.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his residence.
