Grover Lee Turnage

LaGrange
– Mr. Grover Lee Turnage, 74, of 332 Beston Road, died Sunday at
Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Greene County, he was the son of the late John and
Nannie Turnage and was a retired farmer in Wayne County. Mr. Turnage
served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wesley Jarman officiating. Burial will
follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Turnage is survived by his sons, Dale R. Turnage and wife Betty
Jo of Goldsboro and Mike S. Turnage and wife, Marilyn of Goldsboro;
his daughter, Tracy T. Scott and husband, Pat of LaGrange; his
grandchildren, Stephanie Turnage Capps, Emily Turnage and Bryan
Turnage; his great-grandchildren, Taylor Howell and Katie Capps; his
sisters, Margaret Pope of Dudley and Laura Faukenburg of Ayden; and
a special friend, John Carter.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice
Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home and other times at the home of Dale and Betty Jo
Turnage, 210 Antioch Road, Goldsboro.
