Gracy Violet Hall Turner

Goldsboro – Mrs. Gracy Violet Hall Turner, 94, died Friday at
Sunbridge Rehabilitation and Care in Mount Olive.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel M.
Hall and Nora Lee Hall and was married to the late W.H. (Bill)
Turner. Mrs. Turner was a retired beautician in her home and had a
love for gardening and quilting.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Free Will
Baptist Church, of which she was the oldest member. Rev. David Thick
and Rev. Frank Purvis will officiate. Burial will follow in the
church cemetery.
Mrs. Turner is survived by a sister-in-law, Katie Hall of Goldsboro
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, M.D. Hall, Reuben Hall,
W.A. Hall, Joseph Hall and Richard Hall; and her sisters, Virginia
Johnson, Margaret Kirby and Sally Raper.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Free
Will Baptist Church, 1071 Gurley Dairy Road, Pikeville, NC 27863.
The family will receive friends Sunday at Seymour Funeral Home from
7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and other times at the home of Louvene Berry, 555
Old Kenly Road, Pikeville, NC.
