Louis Henry Tyndall

Goldsboro – Mr. Louis Henry Tyndall, 94, a resident of the Sterling House, died today at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Lenoir County, he was the son of the late Noah Henry Tyndall and Nancy Winifred Tyndall and was married to the late Pearl Elizabeth Miller Tyndall. Mr. Tyndall was a retired farmer and was a member of May’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Tyndall is survived by his daughter, Dorothy T. Person and husband Bill of Goldsboro; his son, Harvey Tyndall and wife Faye of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Vicki Kidd, Dean Daughtry, Amy Gooding, Becky Dawson and Christine Cummings; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert Tyndall and Clyde Tyndall; his sister, Sadie Bell Tyndall and his grandchild, Debra Daughtry.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at Dorothy T. Person, 366 Forest Knolls Road, Goldsboro.
