Fannie Lee Virginia Vinson
 Goldsboro – Mrs. Fannie Lee Virginia Vinson, 72, died Friday morning at her home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T.R. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange.
Mrs. Vinson was born in Greene County to the late Herman and Maggie B. Radford. She was a loving “Nanny” to many babies and loved her work as the nursery teacher at Daniels Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Carter and husband, Earl of Goldsboro and Marjorie Swinson and husband, Lee of LaGrange; a son, Ernest Vinson and wife, Beverly of Goldsboro; five brothers, Carlton Radford and wife, Ercell of LaGrange, Herman Radford and wife, Mae of Goldsboro, Rodney Radford and wife, Helen of Fremont, Shelton Radford of Fremont and Charles Radford and wife, Connie of Kinston; two sisters, Ella Mae Henderson of Beulaville and Delores Stallings and husband, Larry of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Tommy Carter and wife, Christy of Snow Hill, Steven Swinson of LaGrange, Brittany Vinson and Brandon Vinson of Goldsboro; three great-grandchildren, Candice Carter, Zoë Carter and Cody Carter of Snow Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zolla C. Vinson, Jr.; three sisters, Shirley Dail, Roberta Watkins and Joyce Tyndall; and four brothers, Sydney Radford, Earl Radford, Glenn Radford and Ricky Radford.
The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and other times at her home, 104 Mansion Lane, Goldsboro.
