Mildred Thompson Wallace
Goldsboro – Mrs. Mildred Thompson Wallace, 79, died Saturday at
Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin
Everett Thompson and Janie Thomas Gray Thompson and was married to
the late Tommy Wallace. Mrs. Wallace was a member of the First
Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the First
Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bill Hufham officiating.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by her sons, Lem Morgan and wife, Sue
Morgan of Fayetteville and Kevin Wallace and wife, Debra Wallace of
Raleigh; brothers, Dr. Everett Thompson of Cary, Allen Thompson of
Raleigh and Fred Thompson of Raleigh; a sister, Janie Lassiter of
Rocky Mount and grandchildren, Lem E. Morgan, Marshall T. Morgan and
Devin C. Wallace; and three great-grandchildren, Rett E. Morgan,
Joanna Morgan and Taylor Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice
Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at
First Presbyterian Church.
