Clovis Albert Warrick

Hazel Green, AL – Mr. Clovis Albert Warrick, 45, formerly of
Goldsboro, NC died Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at the Huntsville
Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Elizabeth L. Warrick of
Goldsboro, NC and the late Clovis Junnie Warrick. Since 1988, Mr.
Warrick was employed with IBM Corporation and has been in the
Huntsville, AL area for the last ten years. Prior to starting with
IBM, he was employed as a truck driver for Kemp Furniture of
Goldsboro, NC for ten years. He served in the United States Air
Force following high school ROTC. Mr. Warrick was an active member
of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hazel Green, AL and served as a troop
leader for the local Boy Scouts of America for the last ten years as
well as T-ball coach. He was a wonderful husband and father to his
two sons and enjoyed many activities with them such as camping,
boating and hiking.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2002 at 7:00
p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro, NC with Rev. Harold
T. Anderson officiating. Interment will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in
Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kathy E.
Warrick; two sons, Clovis Jonathan Warrick and Bradley Scott
Warrick, both of the home; brothers, T. Ray Warrick and wife, Pattie
of North Wilkesboro, NC and N. Max Warrick of Wendell, NC; and a
sister, Alice Wise-Anderson and husband, Harold T. Anderson of
Goldsboro, NC.
Mr. Warrick was preceded in death by a brother, Carl E. Warrick.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, September 7,
2002 following the service ‘til 9:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home
and other times at 101 Torhunta Drive, Goldsboro.
