Wanda Baker Waters

Wanda “Faye” Baker Waters, 67, of 528 Stoney Creek Church Rd., died peacefully Monday night at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Nash County, she was born June 5, 1940, the daughter of the late Seth and Crystal Dozier Baker. Faye was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Steve Briggs presiding. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband, John (Boe) Waters; daughter, Crystal Robin
McFatter and husband, Rev. Tim McFatter of Wilson; son, John Dale Waters and wife, Jan of Smithfield; mother, Foye Dozier Baker of Nashville, NC; sisters, Tommie Pullen of Rocky Mount and Crystal Price of Youngsville, NC; brothers, Kolby Baker of Elm City and Thorpe Baker of Rocky Mount; and her grandchildren, Stephanie and Whitney McFatter, Heather and Matthew Waters.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
