Ida Belle Ashley Watkins

Ida Belle Ashley Watkins, 80, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Donalds, SC, Mrs. Watkins was the daughter of the late James Clifton Ashley and Viola McCoy Ashley and was married to the late Grier P. Watkins. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Allen officiating. Graveside services were held at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery in SC.

Mrs. Watkins is survived by her son, Donald G. Watkins and wife, Linda; her daughters, Judy W. Sasser and husband Jack and Betti Ann W. Perry and husband Brad; five Grandchildren: Jay Sasser, Hope Howard, Jacque S. Langdon, Dana W. Lewis, and Ashley Perry; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Rachel A. Skinner; and two sisters-in-law, Catherine G. Ashley and Beatrice C. Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, David Ashley, Clyde Ashley, and Glenn Ashley.usband, Keith; and four great-grandchildren.
