Gladys Holland Watson
Goldsboro – Mrs. Gladys Holland
Watson, 70, of 716 W. Holly Street, died Monday at Wayne Memorial
Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, she was
the daughter of the late Rondal Holland and Mamie Davis Holland and
was married to the late Robert Watson.
Graveside services will be
Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Pikeville Cemetery with Rev. Waldo
Smith officiating.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her
son, Cecil Sykes and wife, Libby of Winston Salem; daughters, Gladys
Marie Velasquez of Goldsboro, Goldie Mae Radford and husband, Herman
of Goldsboro and Pamela Rose Sykes of Goldsboro; sisters, Evelyn
Minshew of Kernersville and Christine Pollock Best of Goldsboro;
brothers, R.J. Holland, Bill Holland and Bobby Holland, all of
Pikeville; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and a
special friend, Johnny Powell.
The family will receive friends
Wednesday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. and other times at
1709 Peachtree Street.
