Doris Thompkins Watts
Goldsboro
- Doris Thompkins Watts, 66, of 112 Mill Run Place, died Wednesday.
A native of Bladenboro, she was
the daughter of the late James Carl Thompkins and Zella Ruth Nealey
Thompkins. Mrs. Watts was a homemaker and volunteered with the
shut-ins, senior citizens and developmentally disabled children.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends John Roberts and T.C. West
officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at
the Garden of Faith in Lumberton.
She is survived by her husband, Ervin Watts; daughters, Deborah
Watts and husband, Brent Lane of Holly Springs, Wanda Kay Watts,
M.D. and husband, Danial Lopez of Cary; four grandchildren,
Alexandria, Ben, Walker and Ad Lane; and a sister, Louise Russell of
New York.
She was preceded in death by a
sister, Agnes Callahan; and brothers, David Thompkins and James
Thompkins.
The family will receive friends
Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and other
times at the residence.
