Roger M. Welch

Goldsboro, NC – Roger M. Welch, Lt. Col., Retired, U.S. Army, passed into God’s nearer presence on Sunday, June 23, 2002.

Funeral services and burial with full military honors will be held in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Dottie; a daughter, Susan Gilpin of Elverson, PA; a son, Tom Welch of Cherry Hill, NJ; four grandchildren, Roger Gilpin, Karen Friez, Elizabeth Welch and Marjorie Welch; a great-grandchild, Emily Friez; four step-children and four step-grandchildren.
