Margie Westbrook Whitfield

Clinton - Mrs. Margie Westbrook Whitfield, 68, of the Grantham community died Tuesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Pascal Westbrook and Nettie Holland Westbrook, and was the widow of Charles Gordon Whitfield, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Massey officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Whitfield and wife, Jewel of Mount Olive, Charles Whitfield and wife, Janice of Rosewood and David Whitfield and wife, Renee of Mount Olive. Mrs. Whitfield is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Pearline Westbrook Strickland.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence of Joe and Jewel Whitfield, 496 Raynor Mill Rd. Mt Olive.
