Charles Ashley Wiggs

Pikeville – Charles “Charlie” Ashley Wiggs, 51, of 305 Carla Ann Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Margaret Pate Wiggs of Princeton and the late W. Mannis Wiggs. He was a water meter service technician with the City of Goldsboro. Mr. Wiggs played Country music around Wayne County.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gladys Jean Wiggs; daughters, Rhonda Stingle of Norfolk, VA, Kristy Mayes of Pikeville, Melissa Williamson of Goldsboro and Charley Lynn Wiggs of the home; sister, Irene Braswell of Princeton and Martha Minix of Jackson, Michigan; brother, Ray Wiggs of Kenly; and 5 granddaughters.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Education Fund for his daughter, Charley Lynn Wiggs, 305 Carla Ann Drive, Pikeville, NC 27863.

The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.
