Lillie Barham Wiley
Goldbsoro – Mrs. Lillie Barham Wiley, of 106 Head Street, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Sam Barham and Vera Worrells Barham and was the widow of William Gardner Wiley. As a member of Oak Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, Mrs. Wiley was a member of the Christian Fellowship Class and the Young at Heart Club. She retired from Borden Manufacturing.
For those who knew her, Mrs. Wiley will be remembered as a generous, caring, compassionate woman and a loyal friend to so many.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dann Patrick and Rev. Charles Heath officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wiley was a very loving wife and mother. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Carolyn Hardison and husband, Tom and Pat Hamm and husband, A.J., all of Goldsboro; a daughter thru love, the late Lois Jones Little and her husband, Billy; her grandchildren, Jamie Hamm and wife, Loi, Robin Salter and husband, Nigel, Tammy Floars and husband, Darryl, Michele Overton and husband, Billy, Scott Hamm, Shannon Smith and husband, Wayne and Andrea Hardison; her great-grandchildren, Jason Hamm and wife, April, Cole Dawson, Bobby Floars, Lee Watts, Holly Dawson, Blair Floars, Susan Salter, Brad Floars, Blake Floars, Lauren Smith; and her great-great-grandson, Matthew Hamm.
Mrs. Wiley was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Carter.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter, Carolyn and Tom Hardison, 103 Louise Circle, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
