Ada Barwick Wilkins

– Mrs. Ada Barwick Wilkins, 80, of 906 N. Carolina Street, died
Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Jule and
Esteen Barwick and was married to the late Harvey Delwood Wilkins.
Mrs. Wilkins was retired from Textilease and was a member of Victory
Free Will Baptist Church, where she had been active in the Ladies
Auxiliary. She loved her yard and enjoyed her flowers to the
fullest.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. Dr. Rick
Cason and Rev. Randy Graham will officiate.
She is survived by her daughters, Faye Hardy and husband, Sutton of
Kinston and Jean Rollins and husband, Warren of Goldsboro; two
sisters, Eloise Barwick of Goldsboro and Louise B. Ingram and
husband, Foy of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Richard Williams and wife,
Donna, Angela Faye Sutton and husband, Scott and Brian D. Williams;
and great-grandchildren, Ashley Sutton, Sommer Willoughby and
Cassidy Willoughby.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Victory Free Will
Baptist Church Building Fund, 1806 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro,
NC 27530.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home and other times at the home. |
