Dorothy Overman Williams

Pikeville – Dorothy Overman Williams, 79, of 126 Williams Road, died
Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late William
C. Overman and Lillian Tyndall Overman. She was a member of Pike’s
Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Timothy Creel, Paul Rose and
Bill Cotton officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday
at 1:00 p.m. at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Williams; daughter,
Dorothy Ann Barbour of Saulston; sons, Shelton Daniels and wife,
Gail of Fayetteville, Gary Daniels and wife, Bethany of Pikeville
and Danny Daniels and wife, Pat of Rosewood; grandchildren, Capt.
Jeffrey Daniels and wife, Tania of Charleston, SC, Karen Daniels of
Greenville, Christopher Daniels and wife, Michelle of Stantonsburg,
Amanda Daniels and Tyler Daniels, both of Rosewood and Pat Lancaster
of Rosewood and Thomas Harper and wife, Deana of Goldsboro; 7
great-grandchildren; sister, Janie Grimes of Stantonsburg; and a
brother, David Overman of Fremont.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucettie Worrell and
Maybelle Lane and a brother, Johnny Overman.
The family will receive friends following the service until 9:00
p.m. and other times at the residence.
