Elizabeth Pearce Williams

Kinston – Mrs. Elizabeth Pearce Williams, 88, died Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Edd and Delia Pearce. Mrs. Williams graduated from Rex Hospital School of Nursing in 1934 and continued working as a registered nurse for forty-four years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kinston, where her family resided for 52 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lee Williams.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 26, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston with Rev. Dexter Wasson officiating.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Pat W. Nunn and husband, Paul of Goldsboro; two grandsons, Todd W. Nunn and Jeffrey Paul Nunn, both of Greenville.

The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nunn, 606 Lakeshore Drive, Goldsboro.
