Lucky Earl Williams Jr.

LaGrange
– Mr. Lucky Earl Williams, Jr., of 254 N. Beston Road, died Saturday
at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Lucky E.
Williams Sr. and Ellen Whitley Willliams and was married to the late
Mary Howell Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of New Hope Friends
Meeting where he served as an elder, Sunday school superintendent
and a choir member for 60 years.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Friends
Meeting with Bill Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview
Cemetery.
Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Williams Grady and
husband, Bobby of Goldsboro; a son, David Earl Williams and wife,
D.A. of Goldsboro; sisters, Joyce Garris and husband, Jarvis of
Goldsboro and Mildred Smith of Seven Springs; brothers, Ferrell
Williams and wife, Eleanor of Goldsboro, Alton “Coggie” Williams and
wife, Evelyn of Goldsboro, George Williams and wife, Sue of
Goldsboro and Brent Williams and wife, Marcia of Mount Olive; a
brother-in-law, Jack Howell, Jr. of LaGrange and grandchildren,
Holly Hansen and husband, Mark of Goldsboro, Todd Williams and wife,
Dannie of LaGrange and Kelly Grady of Cary; and a great-grandson,
Harrison Mark Hanson.

East U.S. 70 Hwy., Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Earl
Williams, 238 N. Beston Road, Goldsboro. |
