Goldsboro – Mr. Lamont Wilson, 50, of 147 Blue Bird Lane, died Wednesday at his home.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Marion Daniels "Scrooge" Wilson and Eleanor Parks Wilson.

Funeral services will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack L. Sauls officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Walker Wilson; children, Daniel and Jennifer Wilson; sisters, Linda Smith and husband, Sammy of LaGrange, Mary Grady and husband, Jarvis of Goldsboro, Ruth Smith and husband, Kent of LaGrange and Esther Wilson of Goldsboro; brothers, Dennis Wilson and wife, Brenda, Regis Wilson and wife, Vera, Joe Wilson and wife, Wanda and John Wilson and wife, Terry all of Goldsboro; brother-in-law, David Walker and wife, Patsy; sister-in-law, Teresa Gwaltney and husband, Bill.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Max Walker.

The family will receive friends Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and other times at the residence.
