Goldsboro – Barbara Edwards Winters, 75, 702 N.
Spence Ave., died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of
the late Nathan Asher Edwards and Emma Roscower Edwards and was
formerly married to Dr. Arthur Winters. While living in New
Rochelle, NY, Mrs. Winters taught high school mathematics in the
Hartsdale School System.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at
Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Dulaney officiating.
Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mrs. Winters is survived by her daughters,
Carolyn Winters Hulse and husband, Dr. Clark Hulse of Oak Park, IL
and Dr. Nancy Winters and husband, Dr. Scott Murray of Portland, OR;
a son, Neil Winters of Larchmont, NY; and grandchildren, Benjamin
Hulse and Daniel Hulse.
Mrs. Winters was preceded in death by her
brothers, Leonard Edwards and Nelson Edwards.
The family will receive friends at Seymour
Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
