Frank Woodard

Goldsboro – Mr. Frank Woodard, 61, of 554 Grantham School Road, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Johnston County, he was the son of the late Jesse Woodard and Jessie Graham Woodard. Mr. Woodard was a Senior Auditor for ChoicePoint Commercial Specialist and was an avid golfer. He was a member of Falling Creek Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and was a former deacon. Mr. Woodard was also a member of the Grantham Rescue Squad.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Varner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Woodard is survived by his wife, Sandy H. Woodard; his daughters, Rebecca Woodard of the home and Holly Daly and husband, Chris of Mount Olive; a grandson, Christopher Daly; his brother, Roy Woodard and wife, Becky of Statesboro, GA; his mother and father-in-law, Deems and Otha Hollingsworth and several nieces and nephews.

The Grantham Rescue Squad and the Fellowship Sunday Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
