Margaret Elizabeth Ziemer

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Ziemer, 76, of Visalia, Calif. died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at the home of her son, Dr. Carey Ziemer, 612 Brookwood Lane, Goldsboro.

A native of Seattle, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Owen Williams and Gladys McCrae Williams and was a retired Registered Nurse specializing in pediatrics. Mrs. Ziemer was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orange, California where she taught Sunday school and bible school for a number of years.

Mrs. Ziemer is survived by her husband, Dr. Walter A. Ziemer of Visalia, Calif.; her sons and daughters-in-law, Doctors Carey and Penny Benson Ziemer of Goldsboro and Stephen S. and Lynn Ziemer of Norco, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Rafal Kapelinski of London, England; grandchildren, Amanda Ziemer, Stephen S. Ziemer, Jr., Carolyn Ziemer and Laura Ziemer; and her sisters, Barbara Thompson and Mary Lacher of Seattle, Wash.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to First Christian Church, 1609 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530 or the charity of one’s choice.

The family will celebrate Mrs. Ziemer’s life at a later date.
