Tonya Sue Zimmerman

Goldsboro – Tonya Sue Zimmerman, 43, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Aileen Sasser Whaley.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Jimmy Whitfield and Billy Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Woodard’s Cemetery in Johnston County.

Miss Zimmerman is survived by her sister, Georgie Whaley of Dudley; brothers, Rex Davis and Ronnie Davis both of Goldsboro and Travis Vick of Texas; her special aunts, Louise Godfrey, Donnie Bedford and Ruby Best both of Goldsboro; and a special friend, Deena Holmes.

The family will receive friends Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and other times at the residence of Georgie Whaley, 103 Blue Ridge Road, Dudley.
