Obituary for Ruby Hare Miller

Ruby Hare Miller, 80, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Ruby was born in Duplin County on September 24, 1937 to the late Willie and Irene Hare. She was married to the late Charles Edward Miller. Ruby had worked in sales with Wayne Memorial Park and later worked in accounting with Home, Health and Hospice in Goldsboro. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Ruby will always be loved by her children and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

A service to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Elbert Hollowell and Rev. Juanita Hollowell officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Ruby is survived by her children, Timothy Charles Miller and wife Ann of Raleigh, Neal Scott Miller of Goldsboro and Dawn Renee Anderson and husband Mike of Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Kristin, Hannah, Nolan, Caitlin and Evan. She is also survived by her brother, Donald Hare and sister, Tenny Hall.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
