Obituary for Wade Hampton Moore

Wade Hampton Moore, 72, Monday February 26th, 2018.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with full military honors. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Mary Moore.
His sisters Marie Ward of Hobbsville, NC, Patricia Fennell of Knotts Island, NC and brother, Gordon Moore of Southold,NY.
His children son: Terry Curtis and wife, Melissa of Goldsboro; Colin Curtis and wife Sebrina of Dudley; David Moore and wife Deanna of Dalton, GA a daughter Sophia Moore Pittman and husband, Jeffrey of Pikeville.

He was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. He has struggled with cancer on and off for 10 years. He served his country for 21 years in the US Air Force as a MSgt. He retired here in Goldsboro with his family. He had a huge passion for motorcycles, outdoors, and his family. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He leaves behind 3 nieces, 5 nephews, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

We would like to thank his doctors, Dr. Kaspari, Dr. Cunningham, and Dr. Clarke and staff for all the love and constant care.
