Obituary for Anthony Wayne Grady

Anthony Wayne “Moose” Grady, 51, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 while deer hunting and after killing a prize buck.

Moose was born in Wayne County on July 18, 1966 to Wayne and Shelby Grady of Goldsboro. He owned and operated Tint Masters in Goldsboro. Moose was a true sportsman, most comfortable outdoors, on the water or in the woods. He was a hunter of big and small game and loved walking in the woods and fields looking for arrow heads. Moose passed his love of the outdoors to his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The family will gather for a time of visitation on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times they will be at his home.

In addition to his parents, Moose is survived by his wife, Beverly Smith Grady; children, Lucas Ryan, Tanner, and Brittney; and step-grandchildren, Macy, Ashton, and Audrey Davis.
He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Ashley Wall; and his grandparents, Berry Swift and Hattie Grady and William and Sylvia Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in his memory to Make A Wish Foundation or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
