Obituary for Wilma L. Jackson

Wilma L. Jackson, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Wayne UNC Healthcare in Goldsboro.

Wilma was born in Sevier County, Tennessee on February 18, 1933 to the late Hubert and Cena Byrd Layman.

The family will gather for a time of visitation on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Wilma’s life will be held at Beech Springs Baptist Church in Kodak, Tennessee. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Wilma is survived by her daughters, Jeannette W. Capps and husband J.D. of Goldsboro, Catherine Ann Gleason of Goldsboro, Bertha Bradley of LaGrange and Darlene Busdieker and husband Mike of Raleigh; sons, Vernon Cutway of Mississippi, Roy E. Gleason and wife Laura of Dudley and Junior Cutway of Florida; sister, Ruby Haynes and husband George of Knoxville, TN and Joyce Ann Wilkerson and husband Jack of Knoxville, TN and grandchildren, Robin Walker, Robert Walker, Cameron Malinofski, Bridgette Cutway, Haley Busdieker, Ethan Busdieker, Jessica Gleason, Javon Williams, Caleb Gleason, Michael Bradley, Gregory Bradley, Brittany Bradley, Christina Woodard, Tammy Cutway, Mikey Cutway, Leroy Cutway, Christopher Cutway and Daniel Cutway; and several great-grandchildren.
